About the Film:

“Faro” is a short animated film I co-directed with my 12-year-old son in 2023. Created using 3D animation tools, the film follows the whimsical adventure of a young stink bug who writes a heartfelt wish in the style of a letter to Santa Claus and sets off on a journey to discover where such wishes truly go.

At its core, the film explores themes of imagination, hope, and the universal desire to be heard. With light humor and emotional depth, we aimed to capture a child’s perspective on belief and wonder.

“Faro” was a special project for me, not only as an artist, but as a parent. Working side by side with my son made the creative process uniquely meaningful. We developed the concept, animation, and direction together, combining storytelling and visual design to bring our vision to life.
